This page details how to use the iCal provider to view the St Mary & St Joseph’s calander on a phones Calander application.

iCal is an open standard supported by a number of Mobile and PC calendar applications for distributing calandar events. iPhone and Android can use iCal to display calendar events within the Calendar application.

The school iCal provider generates a iCal file from the St Mary & St Joseph’s calander:

To setup on an iPhone, follow these instructions:

1. Launch the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap on Mail, Contacts, Calendars.
3. Tap on Add Account… under the Mail section.
4. Launch the Settings app, tap on the Mail, contacts, calendars button, and then tap on the Add account button.
5. Tap on Other.
6. Tap on Add Subscribed Calendar under the Other section.
7. Enter the following server location of the calendar. https://www.retallack.org.uk/school.ics
8. Tap the Next button
9. Tap the Save button

The school calendar should now be visible in the Calendar App.

1. On a computer, open Google Calendar.
2. Next to “Other calendars” on the left, click the Down arrow Down Arrow.
3. Select Add by URL.
4. Enter the following server location of the calendar. https://www.retallack.org.uk/school.ics
5. The calendar will appear on the left side under “Other calendars.”
